Marohnic is motivated by his passion, creative vision and a profound dedication to create sculptures that draw the viewers into interpretation. The proprietary process for his contemporary, hi-tech wall sculptures include mixed media metals which are primarily stainless steel and copper. Colors are created by a custom automotive process. Elements are strategically layered for a three-dimensional effect, transforming each piece into a natural contemporary elegance that is both dynamic, timeless and striking.
Russell Marohnic is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design at the University of Toronto and has been featured in many publications in Arizona and his art has been selected for exhibitions at many galleries in the US and Canada. He is also a previous “Masters of the Southwest” award winner.
